Chestnut Villa - Grasmere

Brilliant place, great for trip. Really polite staff, early check-in and exquisite bar.

Possibly the best and nice stay during our road trip. Budget, unique room with a spacious bathroom. Great facilities and extremely comfy beds. Location close to the Coast to Coast and bars and restaurants and wordworth's.

Enjoyed the fine views, though parking was a bit tight.

Fine hill views

I had an amazing stay with stunning views and a cozy room. The breakfast was the best part, especially the veggie sausage! I would definitely stay here again, no doubt!

Chestnut Villa offered a good experience with spacious rooms featuring fine views and cozy decor. Despite some tight parking, the overall vibe and the warm hospitality of Mike made my stay enjoyable. Perfectly located for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Grasmere.

great location but some room quirks

The suite we stayed in offered a lovely bright ambiance. It had a fantastic outside seating area with fine views.

While the suite was good, some amenities felt dated.

We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights in a bright junior suite with a lovely seating area and fine views. There was plenty of time for relaxation with a cozy lounge and a beautiful garden to unwind in. The only minor hiccup was that breakfast wasn't included, but we got a nice cafe discount nearby. 🌳

Do recommend for a weekend rest

Spacious room, clean bathroom, with both a large shower and a relaxing bath. The views of the fells were amazing, and the convenient location allowed for a short stroll to the center for shops and dining while being an easy drive from the nearest airport.

The staff were super friendly. The room was stylish and comfy with amazing views. Breakfast was delish, loved that we got to pick what we wanted. It was also in a perfect spot for exploring grasmere, very close to everything!

Breakfast options were fabulous, with a chance to pick what I wanted. The location felt perfect for exploring Grasmere, just a short walk to the village center. Mike, the host, was friendly. The parking situation was tight, and I could hear other guests at night, a bit disruptive. I'd definitely return!

Couple getaway that was so great

It seemed like we were visiting an old friend. The room was superbly clean and had this huge window with amazing views of the hills, every morning, I sunk into that amazing scenery with my coffee, it was magic.

Not the cheapest place out there but worth every penny.

Spacious Junior Suite with stylish decor and fine hill views. The nearby patio offered a lovely spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere after a long day of trekking.

Noise from other guests was noticeable at night, which disrupted a good night's sleep. The location, while scenic, required a 10-minute walk to reach the village center, which might be inconvenient for some, especially after a long day of hiking.
